We collect almost nothing.

Winemaking.net is a set of static pages. There are no accounts, no login, no forms and no database. We do not ask you for your name, your email address or anything else, and there is nowhere for us to put it if you gave it to us.

Cookies. This site sets none. Nothing here tracks you between visits or between sites.

Analytics. No analytics or tracking script is loaded on these pages. If that changes, this page changes first.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records ordinary request logs, which include IP addresses, for security and reliability. That is standard for any website and we do not use those logs to build a profile of you.

Affiliate links. Some outbound links to Amazon carry our store tag, winemakingnet-20. If you follow one, Amazon knows you arrived from here and may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy, which we do not control and you should read if it matters to you. We receive a commission on qualifying purchases and never see your payment details, your address or what you bought beyond an aggregate total.

Email. If you write to hello@winemaking.net, we keep your message so we can reply to it and act on any correction you send. We do not add you to a mailing list, because there is not one.

Children. This site is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.

Your rights. Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Since we hold none beyond any email you have chosen to send us, a request is simple: write to us and we will delete the correspondence.
